Skills

Web Design and Development
In 2006—having taught myself HTML and CSS to create educational websites—I started freelancing as a web developer. I design, build, and implement cross-browser compatible sites for my clients, using languages and tools like HTML5, CSS3, PHP, JavaScript, and Photoshop to create everything from hand-coded static pages to fully customized WordPress sites and blogs. I also train clients to use WordPress.

Writing and Editing
My published work includes award-winning scholarly essays and top-ranked educational web content. I developed my editing skills through graduate education, editing articles for scholarly journals and presses, and teaching writing and composition courses. I am fluent with major word processing software including Google Docs and Microsoft Word.
